What has changed in the Homepass new app

This article is for the Homepass new app. If you are still using the Homepass Legacy app, see the Homepass Legacy app articles instead.

This article explains what is different in the Homepass new app, what has stayed the same, and what happens to your login and your information.

Important points

  • The Homepass new app is a modernised refresh of the app you already use. The look and feel is updated; the layout and navigation are deliberately familiar.

  • Your login has not changed and neither has your information. It is the same account and the same data in a newer app.

  • The app icon has changed. It keeps the Homepass branding and colours with a more modern look.

  • Bookings is not part of the Homepass new app. See Bookings is not available in the Homepass new app.

1. What has stayed the same

  • The structure, the navigation and where the buttons sit are intentionally the same, so you should not have to relearn anything.

  • Home keeps the layout you know: your header, what is up next, and recent activity.

  • Working offline is unchanged and kept in full. Changes you make without a connection sync when you are back online. See Notifications, region and offline sync.

  • Same login, same account, same information.

2. What you will notice

  • Places carries larger imagery and more property information.

  • Places has filters for My places or Other places, commercial or residential, sales or rentals, and team. See Find, search and filter your places.

  • A place's detail screen shows your checked-in contacts, upcoming actions and activity history together, with the check-in button always in reach.

  • Contact search is one box. Type a name or a phone number into the same field.

  • The app icon looks different on your phone. Same branding and colours, more modern.
