How do I use the Broadcast message feature?

The Broadcast message feature allows you to bulk SMS to your customers from your own mobile number, using smart templates and labels for a personal touch.

Sending a Broadcast message

You can launch Broadcast by tapping on the Details button on a place, then selecting Broadcast.

You can also launch Broadcast by tapping the More button on a contact – this will open Broadcast with the contact already selected as a recipient:

Here, you can type your message:

You can also select recipients – just tap Recipients. You can add Suggested recipients (these are contacts who were checked in to the property) and search for More (contacts from your address book).

When you're ready to send your Broadcast message, simply tap Send

If you're on an iOS device, you'll need to press Send for each message. If you're on Android, you'll need to press Send and the back button for each message. Unfortunately, these are system limitations that we're unable to override.

.... and you're done! Selected recipients will receive your SMS, and can reply directly to your number.

Using Labels

You can use labels to insert relevant information – like the recipient's first name. Simply tap Insert Label, then select the label you'd like to insert.

Using Templates

You can use templates to quickly send common messages. You'll have a few pre-defined templates already. Simply tap Insert Template, then tap the template you'd like to insert.

You can also add, edit or remove existing templates. Tap Insert Template, then Manage

Here, you can swipe templates to the left to delete them, or tap them to edit.

To create a new template, simply tap the Add button on the top right of your screen.
